Silverhas been known as a bactericide for at least 1200 years. In ancient times it was known to prevent disease and it was said that disease could not be transmitted by drinking from a silver cup. Before refrigeration, silver coins were dropped in milk, to stop spoilage. Scientists routinely used silver coins in petri dishes to sterilize them and the use of silver plates for the surgical repair of human bones was standard.

At Simply Silver we prepare our colloidal silver without the use of any additives whatsoever. Our silver is from ingots that are 99.999% pure and we only use ultra pure distilled water. We manufacture a true colloidal silver in the ionic form where the particle size is 10,000 times smaller than body cells, which means it can easily pass through cell membranes where viruses reside. Being ionic it has a positive charge and thus is highly reactive, permitting it to strongly bind. Being a colloid, it has the highest bio-availability, since full therapeutic action of any medication requires its conversion into a colloidal state.
Colloidal Silver is nearly tasteless, odourless and non-stinging to sensitive tissues. It may be taken orally, gargled, dropped into the eyes, ears or nose, sprayed or poured onto open wounds and burns, used vaginally, anally, atomized or inhaled into the nose or lungs.

Dosage
The American EPA reference dose (safe daily intake for life – 70 yrs, 70 kg person) of 5ppm Colloidal Silver is 14 teaspoons daily. This is based on 90% elimination rate from a sensitive persons body in 24 hrs. Many people use Colloidal Silver homoeopathically where just a few drops prove very effective, whereas for more serious infections, people have taken more than 200mls on a daily basis until improvement was noticed. Simply Silver recommend adults take 1 tablespoon daily as a dietary supplement. Individual needs vary greatly and there is no standard. Children should take half the adult dose. Ionic Colloidal Silver has the smallest possible particle size and when taken internally it is best swooshed under the tongue for a minute before swallowing to enable “sublingual” absorption.

Colloidal Silver is very effective on animals. Put it in their drinking water or apply to eyes, ears or put drops on the tongue. Spray or dab on cuts and other pet wounds. Use in the goldfish tank and give your plants a lift by watering in. Add to water tanks to kill bacteria and algae. Add to birdbaths and cut flowers to prevent algae.
